Why is my Short's transcript so short?
Shorts are under a minute, so a transcript is often just a few lines. Timestamps still line up with the video.
Can I transcribe a whole channel?
Not yet — one video per request. Bulk export is on the roadmap.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no account, no daily cap and no watermark. The site is supported by clearly labelled sponsor cards.
Which formats can I download?

Where do the transcripts come from?
From the captions the platform already generated for the video. When a video has no captions we transcribe the audio with an open-source speech model on our own servers.
How long can a video be?
Videos with captions have no limit. Videos without captions are transcribed up to 10 minutes.
